ONE NONPROFIT

ONE was created following the escalation in the conflict between Israel and Palestine in May 2021. At its conception, the aim of ONE was to bring peace to the Middle East by promoting unity, love and understanding among the groups involved in the ongoing conflict. To advance toward that goal, ONE partnered with Credenzio Studios and the game Lionhearts. This partnership has allowed ONE to build a community comprising Lionhearts players and others that participate in Q&A sessions and in-game meetups. At these online events, people from diverse backgrounds come together to have open conversations with ONE’s board members about how the organization can better meet its goals. In addition to these events, members of our board host an educational blog that releases weekly articles about current events in the Middle East such as the discovery of new ancient artifacts. Since its founding, ONE has amassed a large community that is motivated to enact positive change in the Middle East. After lots of deliberation regarding ONE’s purpose, it was decided that the organization should focus on the physical manifestations of the rich history of the Middle East (i.e., the historical sites in the region). Therefore, ONE’s current goal is to preserve historical sites through education of the international community and coordination of conservation projects in the Middle East. The board is actively seeking contacts in the Middle East, particularly in Jericho, with the goal of raising money for a historical site preservation project there.
